Moonpie - For Lease

Moonie is an absolute gem - amazing personality, extremely kind and forgiving, comfortable and soft and always get a great piece of the hack. The type that will step around the Derby with a pro and then chip and miss in the crossrails with a kid or ammy the same afternoon. Brave to jumps, good lead change, nice step, quiet but not dull. Has done all 3 rings - goes most like an equitation horse naturally with a soft jump but can be schooled up for the higher level hunters easily. Beautiful mover and amazing rhythm, very easy to find the jumps on and never offended if you don't find it well. Showed to 1.15m in Europe, currently in his first 3' Green year and jumping 3'6"+ at home with ease. Has shown with a 2'3" ammy as well. Would make an amazing BigEq horse with a few more miles. Mid-5 figures to lease.

10yo 16.1hh gelding, shown through the 1.35m in Europe with a 15yo. Imported 2 years ago and has been bringing along an amateur from .65m to .90m, and shown up to 1.10m, schooling 1.25m at home.

Could double in the hunters or the equitation; not a mover but super cute jump. Very similar horse every day, no buck/rear/spin/spook/stop. Auto change, athletic jump, huge stride. Quiet on the flat but takes you nicely at the jumps. Has a good jump but not so strong to jump someone completely out of the tack.

Good on the trail, easy to work with on the ground, super easy prep at the shows. Happily takes a joke but would prefer a rider that's not a dead beginner just as he likes to work. 6-month or year lease in mid-5 figures with purchase option. Lower lease price for in-barn!
